CONDITION DETAILS

Engraved with a fir tree crest; a couple of repairs to the shell bowl; otherwise substantially in good condition; marks are anomalous - Hibernia, crowned harp and top of date letter T appear to be good for 1739, but Haines is recorded as working 30 years or more later - the C.H maker’s mark appears to have been let in - likely a re-worked duty-dodger
