Note:
Under the tutelage of his father Stanley Hunt, Jason began to explore the distinct culture and artistic forms of the Kwakwaka’wakw people. In 1996 and 1997 he was a resident carver at the Royal British Columbia Museum where he served as a cultural liaison between his nation and people from all over the world. Having been featured in a number of published articles and exhibitions, Hunt continues to enhance his skills and knowledge under the direction of his father.
