A minor firing crack at the base of each vase; miniscule glaze nick at the rim of one vase and a larger (1.5 cm) shallow chip at the base; a small (5 mm) glaze 'pop' below the rim of the other vase; some minor wear to gilding and black enamel; otherwise in substantially good condition
