Lot Report

Note:

Documented in a 1965 exhibition catalogue “Contemporary French Tapestries”. Due to a revival of tapestry and weaving techniques that occurred in the early 20th Century in Paris, between 1920-1930, workshops in Aubusson faithfully recreated the works of Miró and fellow Spanish artists Pablo Picasso as rugs and tapestries.
