Lot Report

Note:

Kim Abeles is an esteemed interdisciplinary artist and activist whose works seek to engage with various social and environmental issues. She began her work for “Smog Collector” in 1987 and considers the project to be on-going.

“Smog Map” was created by placing a stenciled image on to the transparent acetate. The acetate is then left outside to collect the various gritty particles of the polluted air.
