Note:

Willem de Kooning created seventeen charcoal drawings on sheets of Mylar as accompanying illustration’s to Frank O’Hara’s “Ode to Willem de Kooning.” Of these seventeen drawings, only three were used for the 1967 O'Hara memorial volume published by the Museum of Modern Art, entitled In Memory of My Feelings. In 1988, the complete suite with a selection of poems by O’Hara was published in an edition of 550. de Kooning's drawings were transferred directly from the plastic sheets to lithographic plates by Benjamin Shiff.
