The exhibition catalogue states that all seven known impressions of this scene agree as to title and date. It is one of Gagnon’s rare uses of the zinc plate to depict the Tour de L’Horloge, one of the major sights of Dinan constructed in the 15th Century showing the Rue de Lehon and its old world charm.
