JOACHIM AND ANNA AT THE GOLDEN GATE (FROM THE LIFE OF THE VIRGIN), 1504 [BARTSCH, 79; MEDER, 246]
Woodcut on thin laid paper with indistinct, partial watermark at the top centre that has a diagonal bar on an angle probably an "Escutcheon with Diagonal Beam" (Meder, 246) watermark, signed with initial monogram and dated 1509 in the plate. With 4-6 mm. margins on all sides.
