PAUL HOBBS CABERNET SAUVIGNON BECKSTOFFER TO KALON VINEYARD 2009

Napa Valley.
u. 2 x bn. 2 x scuffed labels.

Deep garnet in color, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is sporting quite a lot of cedar to begin, giving way to a crazy-intense perfume of crème de cassis, blueberry pie and Black Forest cake plus hints of dried mint, mocha, sandalwood and powdered cinnamon. This is a concentrated, full-bodied, pedal-to-the-metal palate with the layers of black fruits supported by rock-solid, firm tannins, finishing long with a lot of grip and texture. January 2020. Drink: 2020-2044 WA 97+
