Lot 97 Details
FORMAN CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2010

Napa Valley.

Just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon jumps from the glass with an exotic, beguiling melange of violets, cassis, spices and menthol. Layers of fruit supported by vivid, beautifully articulated tannins cover every inch of the palate. Rich and powerful, the 2010 never abandons its classic sense of structure. Today, the 2010 is a bit compact, but time should prove to be very beneficial in releasing the wine’s true potential. There is absolutely nothing out of place in this majestic Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are virtually imperceptible, as is the new oak. The long growing season produced a wine that is among the finest of the vintage. This is an unforgettable wine from Ric Forman. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035. December 2012 WA 98
