Lot 409 Details
BRYANT FAMILY VINEYARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2007 (1)

Napa Valley.
u. vts.

The star of this trio is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (907 cases). Beautiful aromas of blueberry liqueur, blackberries, camphor, incense and acacia flowers is followed by a well-textured, full-bodied, stunningly opulent, voluptuous wine with plenty of structure lurking beneath the surface. Super-pure and intense, it is the strongest wine produced by Byrant over the last 4-5 years. It needs 3-4 years of cellaring and should keep for three decades. December 2010 WA 97+

COLGIN CELLARS PROPRIETARY RED IX ESTATE 2004 (1)

Napa Valley.
u. bn.

The same could be said for the 2004 IX Estate Proprietary Red, a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot. Deep purple to the rim with sweet blackberry, creosote, camphor, forest floor and fruitcake notes, sweet tannin and a layered mouthfeel, this wine builds incrementally offering up power, but also elegance. It is a spectacular wine from a great site. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. April 2014. Drink: 2014-2029 WA 97
