Very deep purple-black colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve leaps from the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, blueberry preserves, warm mulberries and spice cake notions, followed up by hints of sandalwood, cigar box, licorice, yeast extract, beef drippings, cardamom and violets. Full-bodied yet wonderfully harmonious in the mouth, the layer upon layer of black fruit preserves and spicy and savory flavors are perfectly knit with the solid frame of super ripe, finely grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with incredible persistence.
