LUNCH AND PRIVATE TASTING (MAXIMUM SIX PEOPLE) WITH HELEN MASTERS, ATA RANGI WINEMAKER

Ata Rangi means “dawn sky” or “new beginning”. It is a name that honours the land and reflects the work at this small, family-owned organic winery with a serious reputation for Pinot Noir. Owners Clive Paton and his wife Phyll and sister Ali have meticulously and methodically build a bastion of quality since the wineries inception in 1980. Their Pinot was honoured in 2010 with the inaugural Tipuranga Teitei o Aotearoa or “Grand Cru of New Zealand” one of only two wines in the country. Under dynamic winemaker Helen Masters, Ata Rangi continues to lead the field. In 2020, James Suckling rated their Pinot Noir 98 points and it was his pick for New Zealand wine of the year. Taste their legendary wines in their newly-built tasting room and enjoy your lunch with Helen. Be prepared to listen to a few stories, share some laughter and give your taste buds the thrill of a life time.

The package also includes two bottles each 2017 Ata Rangi Chardonnay Craighall, 2017 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir and 2018 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir Crimson (to be picked up or shipped from DYMON Wine Cellars).
