birch bark, tufted moose hair, cotton thread, silk
accompanied by old inventory index card inscribed: "Made by Canadian Indians, province of Quebec from birch bark, embroidered with the whiskers of the moose. 150 years old."; also accompanied by an additional inventory note which includes the date and location: "...Sillery. Sept 1940"
