Julian Morales was one of the founders of the Hermanos Salz brigade of Plastic Arts (UNEAC), and has a gallery in Camaguey, Cuba named after him. Morales was an experimental artist who worked with various mediums and materials to create works that explored shape and colour through vivid, abstract imagery.
