ALBUM INTERNATIONAL (FOLIO OF 12 INTERNATIONAL ARTIST’S ORIGINAL PRINTS), 1974

Folio with preface by Etienne Gilson containing 12 various International artist’s prints including: lithographs (9); colour silkscreen (1); wood engraving (1); and an etching (1) by artists including: Henry Moore; Pablo Picasso; Marc Chagall; Hans Erni; Avigdor Arikha; Salvatore Fiume; Jan Le Witt; Joan Miro; Sue Jane Smock; Mark Tobey; Victor Vasarely and Zao-Wou-Ki, each signed in pencil, nine numbered 41/50 in pencil, the Chagall numbered 11/25 A41; the Vasarely numbered 81/100 A41; and the Smock numbered XLI/L in pencil, the Arikha also dated 71, the Moore dated 63 and the Tobey dated 1972 in pencil, each contained in paper folders, one rolled in a tube and tied to the inside spine, with introductory pages, contents page and publisher’s page, this being numbered 41 of the edition of 50, contained in a tan hardcover burlap-covered folio with red fabric spine and ties.

The Miro lithograph before letters was executed in 1973 as a poster for Centre Culturel International at the University of Geneva. The contents page states the Henry Moore was executed in an edition of 60. The lithograph in this folio is numbered 41/50.
