CAMPBELL’S TOMATO SOUP CAN; AND THE HARDCOVER BOOK: THE PHILOSOPHY OF ANDY WARHOL (FROM A TO B & BACK AGAIN)

An actual 19 oz. can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup from the Campbell Soup Company Ltd., Toronto, Ontario, opened and drained of its contents at the bottom; signed in black ink “Andy Warhol”. Together with the book from the first edition published in 1975 by Harcourt Brace Jovanich, New York, the title-page with a pen and ink drawing of a “Campbell Onion Soup” tin dedicated “To Barbara”, signed by Warhol and dated 1975 at Toronto, printed jacket
The Can 4.5" x 3.3" — 11.4 x 8.5 cm.; 8.5" x 5.75" — 21.6 x 14.6 cm.
