This work was exhibited at the Zoumboulakis Gallery in an undated review accompanying this lot.

In 1932, the artist had his first exhibition participating in a group show held at the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1935 he became a member of the group "Free Artists" (Ελεύθεροι Καλλιτέχναι) and he exhibited again in the Parnassos exhibition.

In 1949 he formed, with other artists the "Armos" art group. This group had its first exhibition in 1950, the year this work was executed, held in Athens' Zappeion.
