Unity R. Spencer, the artist’s daughter; From whom purchased along with several other drawings including portraits, figure drawings and compositional drawings relating to various paintings by Tom La Piere, Mississauga, Ontario in 1980 and again on November 24th, 1981 accompanied by a letter from the artist’s daughter;
Private Collection, Mississauga, Ontario

Note:

This is a portrait of Stanley’s niece (whose father, his brother Harold, was a musician residing on the north shore of Belfast Lough in Merville Garden Village). Stanley was a frequent visitor to the model village where he made several portraits of Harold’s daughter Daphne.
