Edward Wettlaufer operated the family business, Wettlaufer Brother’s and Son’s Ltd., Toronto. The company name was passed on through the generations from the founder, the present owner’s great grandfather, George Eidt Wettlaufer, of Stratford, Ontario. It was from here that their contributions to the mining and construction industries grew to worldwide notoriety.
