David Lloyd George, first Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor (1863–1945), was a Welsh statesman and Liberal Party politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1916 to 1922. He was born at 5 New York Place, Chorlton upon Medlock, Manchester.

This bust was unfinished at Epstein's death, but cast posthumously by Lady Epstein in 1960.
