Bryan Pearson’s Inuktitut name to inhabitants of Frobisher Bay (later Iqaluit, Nunavut) was “Sedluk” or “Salluk” (the skinny one) and many Inuit called him that right up to the end. The local store he started (Arctic Ventures) is still known as “Sedluk’s store” by many. He met the Queen several times.

The estate of Patrick Heron is preparing the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the artist's work and would like to hear from owners of any works by Patrick Heron so that these can be included in this comprehensive catalogue.
