Born in St. Louis, Hallie became a member of the National Association of Woman Painters and Sculptors and she was an Academic from the National Academy of Design, New York. She joined the Professional Association of Female Artists in 1901. From 1922 to 1932, she resided in Sycamore Park, Bronxville, New York.
