This drawing, previously attributed to Francesco Guardi, is inscribed in pencil verso with the book reference and page numbers to G. Fiocco’s “Francesco Guardi di Florence," 1926, Vol. XIV. 20 f, o.m.- dr. 1926, June pl. 5, 61923, p. 69, no. 39, pi. xxix.

This lot is not illustrated in Fiocco's publication.


Good overall condition.
Discolouration to the sheet.
Dirt, possible old repairs, remnants of tape verso and staining recto.
Taped on top right and top left corners to center of foamcore.
Scattered soft creases and folds present.
