Louis Alexandre Cabié was a landscape painter born in Dol (Il-et Viliane), Brittany. He was a pupil of Henri Harpignies and Hippolyte Pradelles.

CONDITION DETAILS

1/2" abrasion/wear line along outer edges of the panel from frame rubbing with a vertical crack in the paint near the mid top edge. Some paint loss/chips in lower right quatrant and upper left corner. 1" crack-line, middle-right upper edge.
