Provenance:

Private Collection, Florida

Note:

A substantial work by Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok from the later period of the artist's career.

An undulating line of distinctly Tutsweetok faces is stacked along one edge of the stone, it runs along the length of the upper edge of the composition and forks into two columns of figures as it passes down the far side of the work. Two, or perhaps three arms are suggested in the composition by shallowly incised lines, a pair of which fall together over a palm-sized swell in the stone on one side of the composition.
