Provenance:

Private Collection, Vancouver, BC

Note:

A boldly wrought and charismatic figure by Judas Ullulaq, this monumental muskox in transformation is a superlative example of this artist’s work.

The work bears the characteristic touches of Ullulaq. It is remarkably compact in its simple form, with stylized hair represented by bold parallel grooves, echoed by two sweeping horns that outline a face defined by a wild and outsized grimacing expression—unmistakably Ullulaq!
