Lot Report

Literature:

Maria Von Finkenstein, Nuvisavik: The Place Where We Weave, 2002, page 136

Note:

Of Going Fishing, Maria Von Finkenstein comments, “The dynamic energy and sense of movement in this image stem from the many overlapping diagonals. The alternating of dark and light value creates an additional rhythmic pattern. Two figures, man and wife, stare at us with large eyes in their clearly modeled faces.
