“R.C.A. Playing Card Collection”, Journal: A Publication of the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts, Fall/Winter 1998, Volume 3, Number 2, page 24.

The Fall/Winter 1998 R.C.A. Journal describes the R.C.A. Playing Card Collection (for which Bierk created 10 Diamonds), stating, “The R.C.A. has published a limited edition of 2,500 boxed sets of playing cards, designed by 54 R.C.A. artists, as well as 500 posters featuring all 54 images. The launch was held at the Edward Day Gallery, Toronto, on October 16, 1998, coinciding with the Annual President’s Reception.”
