Note:

John Jeffery Holland studied visual arts across Canada as well as in France and the Netherlands, studying under renowned artists, including Jack Shadbolt, Jack Humphrey and Arthur Lismer.

Holland’s work hangs in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia. The artist’s work has been exhibited internationally, including exhibitions at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, The Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton, as well as exhibitions in galleries and institutions in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Born in 1940 in St. Catharine's, Ontario, Holland spent the first ten years of his life in Baie Comeau, Quebec, moving with his family to New England in 1950, where he has lived intermittently until recent years. Holland currently lives in Caledon Hills, Ontario.
