CONDITION DETAILS

impression inwards in center sky with slightly whiter paint showing (gesso ground?) in this spot and another horizontal 1/4" impression upper left sky just penetrating in a small spot with a tiny tear going through to the back of the canvas;
under uv light there are some dark areas that could be the refractive properties of the paint used by Glyde- he specialized in mixed mediums alternating layers of tempera with oil, ink, casein ad transparent glazes, else ok
