A note on the on the reverse in the artist’s hand describes this as “a view of Mt. Lefroy and glacier...In the foreground the glacier is joined by that of Mt. Victoria, view taken some distance up the slopes of Mt. Whyte-Lake Louise district, Alberta. From original notes, sketches and photos by the artist during the summer of 1912.”
