Note:

Webber studied under Arthur Lismer at the Ontario College of Art and under Laszlo Moholy-Nagy at the New Bauhaus School in Chicago. The artist participated in the Canadian Group of Painters exhibition in 1933 and would later become a full member of this art society. “Abstract Composition #2” was exhibited in 1959 at the Group’s exhibition in Toronto. Webber went on to teach at the School of Art and Design at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, instructing many gifted students such as Claude Tousignant and Guido Molinari.
