Early drawings by Kenojuak are rare to market. This drawing dating circa 1960 is from the first years of her career as a graphic artist, and comes from the collection of Terry Ryan, art advisor and general manager of the West Baffin Co-operative (WBEC). Ryan worked closely with most of the early Kinngait artists and can be seen working alongside Kenojuak in 1960 in the reference image below.
