Referring to an earlier, but closely related mask titled Inuk/Fox Mask, included in the publication Out of Tradition: Abraham Anghik/David Ruben Piqtoukun, Anghik said, “This mask depicts the hunter’s desire to get foxes in his next hunt. It is a stylized version of a more traditional Alaskan mask worn in rituals for the procurement of game before a hunt.”[1]

Some scuffs and abrasions, particularly along the bridge of the nose.
Bruise to proper right ear.
