Provenance:

Private Collection, Victoria, B.C.

Note:

As a child, the artist completed a correspondence course in art from the Ecole ABC in Paris and in 1963 enrolled in the Atelier d'art of Joseph Jacob. One of Jean-Jacques' paintings was chosen for the Esso Competition, a great honor for the 20 year old.

In 1969, Carlo exhibited a small painting at the Galerie Monnin, an association that would last until the end of his life.
