Note:

Robert Adrian was one of the early practitioners of telecommunications art, creating installations, radio art and sound art as early as 1957. He moved from Toronto to Vienna in 1972. Upon his death in 2015, Josef Ostermayer, the Austrian Minister of Culture, declared Adrian "...a pioneer of media art."
