THE MADONNA AND CHILD WITH THE INFANT SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST, CIRCA 1767

Oil on copper on the reverse side of an engraved 18th Century fashion plate with image of two men wearing top hats in a garden with indistinct letters dated “1767” in the plate, inscribed with initials “HH” and numbered “Nr. 1280” in pen and ink to the bottom margin of the engraved plate verso.
