Note:

Frederic Holding of Manchester, England, was a skillful figure painter. He executed illustrations for books including Southey's ‘Battle of Blenheim,’ in 1864. In his later years, he was a scenic artist at the Theatre Royal and the Prince's Theatre, Manchester.
