Pen and brown ink with watercolour wash en grisaille on laid paper, laid down to a support that is now partially torn away exposing the verso of the original sheet; with an unidentified collector monogram “GFM” (Lugt 3343) in handwritten script in brown ink to the later sheet verso, inscribed indistinctly in black ink verso, with crosshatching and lines in brown ink verso.
