Keystone-Underwood typed description verso: “A Maze of Girder: an unusual view of the United States Navy airship, the new Macon, looking upward and inward, showing the maze of girders and encircling rings. This picture was taken in the Goodyear-Zeppelin dock at Akron, Ohio, where the big cigar-shaped sister of the Akron is being assembled. Over 4/5 of the XXX XXX craft’s framework has been covered with fabric, and it is expected initial flights will take place in March.” (1933)
