The "Curator's Statement" document accompanying the lot suggests that this unnumbered Picasso was printed in an edition of only two hundred impressions and an additional thirty Artist's and Printer's Proofs. This lot may be one of those special proofs. It is signed as noted in the catalogue description. This information and the authenticity of this work was provided by Gayle B. Tate of G.B. Tate & Sons to Higgins Harte International Galleries as noted on the accompanying document.
