Note:

Cris Alexander was an American actor, singer, dancer, designer and photographer. He opened a photo studio in the late 1930s when he first moved to New York City. He was noted for his portraits of celebrities and performers, many of whom were his personal friends. He worked as chief photographer at Andy Warhol's Interview magazine, and as the official photographer for the New York City Ballet from 1980 to 1986.

A print of this edition was featured on the front cover of Sotheby's, “New York: The Collection of Frederick W. Hughes” catalogue held in New York on October 10, 2001. Fred Hughes (B.1943) built Warhol’s empire and was the sole executor of Andy Warhol’s Estate. Bob Colacello (B.1947) was Warhol’s primary assistant.
