The sitter is likely "Gregory" and probably sold by MacMillan & Perrin Gallery, UK, in their exhibition, "David Hockney: Works On Paper" on May 7th - June 14th, 1980 where it appeared on the poster for the exhibition and featured on the cover
of the catalogue. It may have also appeared in the review in the Globe & Mail by John Bentley Mays;
