Lucy Molnar Wing’s obituary reads, “Lucy was an accomplished artist, photographer, innovator, and social entrepreneur. Born in Budapest, her family moved to Canada in 1956. Lucy graduated from York University, the Chelsea School of Art in London, the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) and, ultimately, Ryerson University with a degree in Image Arts/Photographic Film Studies. She worked as a landscape painter in the 80s and 90s, and as an award winning documentary photographer since.”

Ryerson’s “Lucy Molnar Wing Lecture Series” created in her honour, is an annual event aimed at inspiring filmmakers and photographers.
