Engraved with a crest; finial is later; dividing panel is loose (detached); minor split at one end of hinge; small hole associated with divider at centre of back, just below rim; one or two very minor dents; well marked under the base and inside cover; the Victorian finial (maker’s mark W.M?) and wing-nut also marked
