Note:

This image is from a series of canned food items that I had photographed during the first lockdown in Germany. I wanted to challenge myself creatively but this project ended up helping me both psychologically and emotionally during this tense and uncertain time. It gave me a purpose to get up and allowed me to find something to focus on and escape.

About the Artist:
Anne Mason-Hoerter is a Canadian photographer who experiments with the combining of multiple image scans and digital images of food. She was captivated very early on by extreme photographic manipulation techniques as a photography student at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Canada. Anne is constantly in search for unconventional ways in which to present food and botanics.
