Lot Report

Note:

In October of 1535 Jacques Cartier visited the Iroquois at Hochelaga, located near a mountain which he named Mount Royal or Monte Real. This plan is based on his account of that visit. Several place names in and around Montreal and the Hochelaga Archipelago can be traced back to the early French explorer.
