Note:

Georgina Martha de L’Aubiniere was born in Balsall Heath, West Midlands, England in 1848. She died in Bodmin, Cornwall, England,1930. She was the daughter of British watercolourist, John Steeple. She studied art in Paris and England for several years and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy. She married the artist Constant de L'Aubinière in 1874. They travelled to North America in 1882. She lived in Montreal and her work was represented by Dominion Gallery in Montreal.
