This limited edition portfolio was produced under the direction of Fisheries and Marine Service, Environment Canada, Ottawa. It consists of the following sections and items:

1. The Legacy: including 5 original silkscreen prints by Bill Reid.

2. The Atlantic: including 6 reproductions of 19th century prints.

3. The Pacific: including 5 reproductions of gouache paintings by David Denbigh.

4: The Cycle: including 6 reproductions of watercolours by Rudi Kovach.

5. A book titled The Salmon written by Roderick Haig-Brown, 1974, 79 pages including reproductions of colour photographs.

The portfolio is presented in its original wood and linen protective presentation box, with a bas-relief by Bill Reid.
